February 10, 2018 - Bob Gardner Begins 2018 Season at East Bay
On Monday night Bob Gardner kicked off the 2018 season at East Bay Raceway Park (Gibsonton, Florida) for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned opener. Drawing 40 Super Late Models for the Wrisco Industries Winternationals, Gardner recorded a 9th place finish in his heat transferring him into the B-Main. Needing to place in the Top 3, Bob logged a 9th place outing giving him one last shot at the opening night feature with the DirtonDirt.com Strawberry Dash. Sending only the race winner into the show, Bob Gardner registered a 6th place finish.

Returning on Tuesday night for another $5,000-to-win A-Main, Bob came in 11th in his heat race sending him into the B-Main. Transferring the Top 3 into the show, Gardner slipped back to an 11th place finish. Slated to start 14th in the DirtonDirt.com Strawberry Dash, Bob scratched from the consolation event to prepare for the rest of the week.

The following night, Gardner held his spot in his heat race to place 8th. Passing seven cars in his 12-lap consolation event, Bob landed a 5th place finish sending him into the Strawberry Dash for one last shot at the $7,000-to-win A-Main. Transferring the race winner, Gardner recorded a 10th place finish.

On Friday evening for the $10,000 top prize, Bob slipped back to a 9th place finish in his heat transferring him into the B-Main with 18th-starting position. Sending the Top 2 into the show, Gardner retired a 13th place outing.

Wrapping up the Wrisco Industries Winternationals on Saturday, Gardner followed up an 8th place finish in his heat with a 10th place finish in his B-Main. Transferring into Strawberry Dash for one last shot at the $12,000-to-win finale, Bob logged a 11th place finish.

December 26, 2017 - Gardner Wraps Up 2017 Campaign; Prepares for 2018 Season
The 2017 season saw Bob Gardner compete in a total of 71 events powering the Oberlander Electric #4G Super Late Model. With the weather determining the outcome of nine of his scheduled dates, Gardner collected 28 Top-10 outings and 10 Top-5 finishes. He also finished sixth in the UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour point standings.

December 16, 2017 - 8th Place Finish in Gateway Dirt Nationals Finale
Bringing the 2017 season to a close, Bob Gardner headed to The Dome at America’s Center (St. Louis, Missouri) on Thursday evening for the second annual VP Racing Fuels Gateway Dirt Nationals. With the field of 94 Super Late Models split into two groups for a round of qualifying on Thursday, Gardner timed in third fastest time positioning him on the pole of his heat race on Friday night.

Losing one spot in the 8-lapper, Bob landed a 2nd place finish behind Billy Moyer Jr earning him 11th-starting position for the $5,000-to-win preliminary feature. With 20-laps to gain some ground, Bob fell two spots to place 13th.

Returning on Saturday for the $30,000 top prize, Gardner came short of a transfer spot into the show with a 5th place finish in his B-Main but was granted a provisional into the main event. November 11, 2017 - Gardner Improves 12 Spots in Finn Watson Memorial
Saturday night saw Bob Gardner return to action at Lake Cumberland Speedway (Burnside, Kentucky) competing in a field of 34 Super Late Models for the Schaeffer Oil Iron-Man Series sanctioned program. After coming in 5th in his heat race, Gardner scored a 2nd place finish behind Jeff Watson in his B-Main earning him the 19th-starting position for the Finn Watson Memorial A-Main. Wheeling his way into the Top 10, Bob Gardner improved 12 spots in the 40-lap affair reeling in a 7th place finish.

September 30, 2017 - Bob Gardner Returns to Peoria Speedway
Bob Gardner was back in action at Peoria Speedway (Peoria, Illinois) on Saturday night for the Jon Hamilton Memorial. Drawing 27 Super Late Models for the UMP DIRTcar sanctioned weekend, Bob followed up the seventh fastest time in qualifying with a heat 3rd place finish in his heat. September 23, 2017 - Gardner Attends Fall Classic at Peoria Speedway
Aboard the Oberlander Electric #4g Super Late Model, Bob Gardner made the short trip to Peoria Speedway (Peoria, Illinois) on Friday for the 3rd annual Fall Classic. With 26 cars signed in for the two-day unsanctioned event, Gardner started the night off with heat race victory earning him the pole position for the opening night feature. With $2,000 on the line, Bob dropped back to a 7th place finish.

Returning on Saturday night for another $2,000-to-win A-Main, Gardner followed up the fastest time in his group with a heat race victory. Starting in 3rd for the feature, Bob fell five positions logging an 8th place outing.

September 16, 2017 - 5th Place Finish in Local Show at Peoria Speedway
Friday brought Bob Gardner to Tri-City Speedway (Granite City, Illinois) for the regular night of racing. Following the third fastest time in his qualifying group, Gardner streaked to a heat race victory sending him into the Dash. Posting a 5th place finish, Bob earned the 5th-starting position for the feature. Hanging on to a Top 10 finish, Bob Gardner registered a 10th place spot.

On Saturday night in a field of 15 Super Late Models at Peoria Speedway (Peoria, Illinois), Gardner posted a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Matt Shannon positioning him 5th on the starting grid for the feature.
